Chariot have been a customer of ACT Systems for over 10 years. To access files remotely and share them externally, Chariot had accumulated up a significant amount of file storage across various drobox accounts. They needed to streamline their file sharing processes and consolidate them into a single, more manageable, and secure solution.

Solution
ACT Systems engaged in meetings with Chariot Limited to identify the key challenges and find the ideal solution. The requirements included remote data access, secure external sharing capabilities, and robust access control levels for users.
The proposed solution involved migrating all Dropbox data to SharePoint, which serves as a centralized file sharing platform. SharePoint enables seamless remote access and incorporates robust external sharing features that are both secure and user-friendly.
ACT Systems collaborated closely with Chariot Limited throughout the migration process. This involved organising and implementing the migration, establishing appropriate access levels, and ensuring synchronisation of relevant file storage areas to internal users’ devices for offline access.
Particular focus was placed on structuring the data effectively within SharePoint to improve usability and ensure that files were organised in a logical and accessible way for all users.
The migration was successfully completed, providing Chariot Limited with an improved, secure and centrally managed file access solution.
