Luminex Consulting had elements of their IT setup stored in another environment, so were in a situation that required them to migrate data out of an existing domain and into a new one. As a new start-up with clients ready to go, a quick turnaround was paramount to get them live as soon as possible.

The team at ACT were slick, professional and friendly from the start. They were always accessible, presented and then delivered a great IT solution for us and were happy to work collaboratively ensuring that we got a bespoke solution that fitted our long term needs.

Solution

ACT Systems were able to identify what was needed and put a plan in place within a week of our initial meeting. Our plan included setting up Luminex’s domain and emails in a new Microsoft 365 environment, setting up SharePoint for a document storage and management solution, setting up a new Active Directory service with Azure Virtual Desktop and an SQL server, alongside reloading and configuring their devices to join the new domain.

This approach ensured that all core systems were aligned from the outset, with clear structure and consistency across users, devices and data. By implementing a unified Microsoft 365 and Azure-based environment, ACT Systems created a secure and scalable foundation that could support Luminex Consulting’s immediate operational needs as well as future growth.

We were able to get Luminex Consulting’s systems operational well in advance of dates requested for the cut-over, then reload all included devices over the course of 24 hours from being delivered to our office. We now support Luminex Consulting on an ongoing basis through proactive monitoring and IT management.
