Thames Side Sensors was placed in a situation where it urgently needed a new IT Support partner to take over the day-to-day support. Thames Side sent web enquiries to several local providers in Reading, looking for an immediate response. Key requirements were a long-term partnership, depth & breadth of IT support, as well as a fast response time.

ACT Systems, recognising the urgency and with the assistance of Thames Side Managing Director Jean-Pierre Gale, quickly took control of the situation. They gathered critical information, gained access to Thames Side Sensors’ systems, and onboarded the IT infrastructure to ensure continuity of day-to-day operations.

Following onboarding, ACT Systems identified opportunities for improvement, completed previously stalled IT projects, and transitioned the environment into a stable ongoing support model.

Alongside this, ACT Systems worked closely with the client to ensure that internal processes and systems were aligned, improving overall visibility and control across the IT environment while laying the foundation for a more proactive approach to support and maintenance.

This approach ensured immediate stabilisation of IT services and established a proactive, long-term support partnership aligned to Thames Side Sensors’ operational needs.
